Funny thing happened this morning. On Google News there was an entry:
FOXNews – 2 hours ago
by AP A growing number of Republicans are expressing concern about Sarah Palin’s uneven – and sometimes downright awkward – performances in her limited media appearances.
Anyway, I clicked on the link and to my surprise the story couldn’t be found. That’s the first time that has happened from Google News. It turns out the link was to a Fox News web site. Nowhere on the site could I find that article. I wonder who pulled the story. Does that mean the Republicans no longer doubt Palin? He he.
Now here’s a problem for Joe Biden. Even in spite of the more or less arms length format for Thursday’s debate, Biden could take Palin apart. But should he? He’s got to tread a fine line. Will people for for McCain/Palin out of sympathy? I wonder.
By the way, the parallels between the selection of Sarah Palin and Dan Quayle are marvelous and amusing. The difference is that Dan’s malapropisms were funny, and Sarah’s one-liners are scary. I’m surprised the Democrats are not making more of this.
Thursday’s debate will be interesting. Probably far more interesting than the first McCain/Obama debate.
