Tomorrow morning Teresa and I set off for a three-week trip to Spain. We will be part of a Tauck tour for the first week, starting in Barcelona, then on to Granada, Ronda, Seville, Cordoba, and Madrid, where the tour ends on May 15. We stay another night in Madrid, pick up our rental car, and drive south then north, visiting Toledo, Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela, Gijon, Santillana (to see ancient cave paintings), Argomaniz (near Bilbao and Frank Gehry’s Guggenheim Museum), Figueres (where the Salvador Dali museum is) and back to Barcelona where we head home on May 28.
